(with my little girl's head just getting in the picture, I've just noticed!)
One last Jubilee post while the warm, fuzzy glow persists! I enjoyed this exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London. It was a delightful mixture of the regal and the odd, the flattering and the ugly, the staged and the spontaneous.
It was the 1954 portrait by Pietro Annigoni, perfectly displayed against a wall painted a beautiful teal blue, which was my favourite (probably because I remember it from my childhood stamp collection!).
